I finally get the chinese food i've been craving and i got a free lunch from a fancy restaurant as my team at work was team of the month :) mainly i just can't wait for that chinese food to get here. ::drool::

hehe well i warned you, i think, i dunno, it's been too long, don't even know what i've previously put up on my poor little blog. oh well, from now on i'll try and keep it regualar since i'll be making daily anouncements! and now for the first one:

ooo and i learned some nifty things about japanese,
1. japanese nouns do not have a plural form. Hon is both book and books!

Oh such a good book! It's rappidly becoming the best peice of fiction I've ever read. Even though it's typcial fantasy fare (good vs evil, boy to hero, and lots of magic and coolness along the way,) the story, themes and characters are fully developed almost to the IDEAL. I so can't wait until the next book!

Ugh, noooo, I am so not ready to go back to work. I just want to sit here and read Envelop(e). http://www.fredart.com/envelope/ and maybe take a nap. If I had my way I'd get to spend 2 hours at home for lunch and wander back into work when I felt like it. Kinda like a siesta. Yeah, that's it. a siesta. Anyways, back to moving boxes around and making room for all the paperwork that will be generated in fiscal year 2006. Maybe just a quick nap first.

Dragons and Such

Right, ok, so anyone reading this must go out and buy A Gift Of Dragons by Anne McCaffrey right this minute and read the first story, The Smallest Dragonboy, to a small child that they know. Or just to themselves. It won't insult you're adult intelligence and both you and the small child will LOVE the story. It's just too cute.

Anyways, I'm trying to learn Japanese so I might just end up documenting my progress here. Hopefully posting what I've learned so far will make it easier for me to remember vocabulary. Because I have a memory like a sieve. Go figure, I can remember if you've told me something or not and I have everything I own completely documented and catalogued in my head but don't ask me to remember an unfamiliar word, usually an odd sounding city or name. Yeah, and I'm trying to learn an entire language of unfamiliar words. Well, kind of like this blog, we'll see how far I get :p Vocab lessons will start tomorrow as I found a wonderful website yesterday and read through the first lesson, but can't remember any of it. Except that the suffix jin, when tacked onto the end of a number . . . means something . . .

Ok, I'm gonna go do some light easy work like filing before I break my brain.

The best invention ever

I just wanted to let everyone know that my staple remover at work is badass. It removes staples at one end and is magnetic at the other so it can pick them right back up again. This comes in particularly handy because one of my favorite bored things to do while removing staples is to see how far I can fling them. It makes picking up the staples that I can find afterwards exceedingly easy. Therefore, it gets my vote for best invention ever.
